Professional Coaching & Counselling
Kamloops, BC

I offer grounded therapeutic counselling and emotional insight for individuals navigating relational tension, communication breakdown, and emotionally complex life transitions.
Sometimes life breaks you wide open.
Divorce, death of a loved one, chronic illness, job loss, or relocation are life altering, emotionally complex experiences that change you. Relief can seem impossible and you are exhausted from silently carrying more than you should.
You may be feeling depressed, anxious, stressed, burned out, angry, apathetic, or a combination of these. You may have been taught to defend, suppress, avoid, perform, or endure--strategies that have worked until now when everything has broken wide open.
Breaking cycles isn't about willpower. It's about leaning into the breaking itself. The moment things fall apart is the moment real change becomes possible.
You can find ground and navigate your way through the dark.
Peace, agency, and deep connection with yourself and others is possible. I know you can emerge stronger, wiser and transformed—because others I’ve worked with have.
I can help you understand what is happening underneath reactivity, emotional overwhelm, and relational tension — so you can respond with greater clarity instead of staying trapped in cycles that quietly erode connection and self-trust.
I help people move through emotionally complex experiences with greater insight, stability, and clarity.
My process is designed to be empowering, insightful, and focused. I am committed to providing a safe space where you are cared for and accepted as you are.
I will be a clear-sighted witness to your story and walk with you as we make sense of your experience. I understand power dynamics, betrayal, and the way conflict spreads like contagion through family systems.
My work brings structure to emotionally overwhelming experiences. Not through performance, pressure, or perfection — but through thoughtful guidance, practical insight, and relational honesty.
Helping you feel understood is the first step toward meaningful change.

About Me
As a guide and witness, I bring a calm, knowing presence to my work. As one who has experienced the worst of family fracture and emerged with the ability to see in the dark, I will not sit across from you as an expert, but as one who has first hand experience of how hard and painful life can be.
A holistic integrated approach to therapeutic counselling that is trauma informed, culturally sensitive, and strength based guides my process. I draw from different modalities including acceptance and commitment therapy, solution focused brief therapy, narrative therapy, attachment theory, and Indigenous perspectives on wellness. I am experienced and trained in crisis intervention, conflict deescalation, suicide risk assessment, and safety planning.
My work is influenced by the Indigenous peoples and organizations I have worked for, and informed by the teachings I have received from Coast Salish and Kwakwakaʼwakw knowledge keepers. This has enhanced my understanding of the interrelationship between body, mind, and spirit, our community, and the land. A holistic view of wellness is about healing our relationship to these and bringing them into balance.
My educational foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts in Indigenous Studies (Vancouver Island University) and Master of Education, Leadership in Learning (Yorkville University) which provides an enhanced understanding of the processes of change and transformation and human development. This is complemented by a Life Coach Certificate (Rhodes Wellness College) and a Diploma in Applied Psychology and Counselling Specializing in Professional Counselling (Kelowna College of Professional Counselling). My unique combination of education and experience positions me to work adaptively and sensitively with you as we make sense of your experience and map out new pathways forward.
